Coolibah Herbs has gained SQF Level 3 Food Safety and Food Quality accreditation for the production, washing and packing of Mesclun Salad Mixes Spinach Roquette and Herbs.
A schedule of Coolibah Herbs products displays over 150 varieties of salad greens in production or on trial. All products are washed, salad mixes being triple washed creating a premium product whilst retaining volume production.
A highly organised production methodology is required to produce this range of crops continuously throughout the year within the criteria of our quality assurance manual. The produce is harvested in optimum condition and delivered for packing, where it is assessed against quality standards and rejected if found deficient. This is one of the reasons Coolibah is rated as a leading salad producer.
As with any fresh produce, herbs and salads have a restricted shelf life, and we inspire confidence in our customers by insisting on rigorous quality controls throughout the production process. A dedicated team are responsible for such controls, and are supported by a Technical team overseeing the product integrity and safety at all stages.
All stages are audited on a risk assessment basis to ensure compliance with strict standards, industry legislation and codes of practice, thereby ensuring the company’s host of accreditations are maintained.
